Are you planning a long getaway from home? Make sure to pack digital devices in the event that the WiFi is down

I'd like to share with you a story which happened to me during a vacation I took on a boat thru the Arctic. It was an amazing, National Geographic journey thru the ice, back, with polar bears and many more wildlife. There would be ice everywhere you could see, and snow all around. Man-made machines were going to battle the elements and cut through the northern desert that was frozen. It sounded amazing like a grand battle with weather and the north.

I was told to take along all the tech I could fit into my luggage. I managed to pack my laptop and added a big screen to expand my work area. According to them, electricity wasn't a problem. I was unsure what was to come for me. I didn't realize that I would be disconnected from my internet two days into my 14 day trip , and then disappear from Earth for the next 10 days. When it did happen I was stunned. Every trip, no matter how far or difficult, is supposed to result in a disconnect from the internet. I didn't plan for the time off, and not only did I have unfinished business that I needed to attend to during the coming week and I also had other tasks to complete.

Nobody cares if you have to leave your home. Internet is available all over the world. If your home's internet connection fails it is possible to go to a McDonald's near you and obtain the free WiFi connection you require. Better yet, you can take your laptop to Starbucks so that you can take a seat at the table and browse the Internet as much as possible. There is no restaurant or cafe that has electricity to the north.youtube converter mp3 and mp4 It's not near any electricity source. You won't find free internet anywhere. Two options are available in such situations: go offline and bring your satellite connection.

I can't afford to purchase the satphone as it's expensive, especially for Internet. I will prepare an audio and video library to use for the next journey without Internet. The last time I was online I had two tracks. They were both downloaded in the past. I couldn't enjoy 3 easy jazz tracks or one well-known song. All I can say is. 4 tunes for two weeks of no music. If I had known this would happen I would have planned. I would have loaded my laptop up with TV shows, movies, music videos, and audio files with music and podcasts. My favorite podcasts would be the soundtrack to my life. It's simple to download them, convert to MP3 and save them to my personal computer. I then can lay in bed and listen to the podcasts I like, but don't always have time to listen. It would be my golden hour or 2 weeks of gold. But it turned out to be two weeks of looking at the ceiling and running to catch passengers each whenever a sound makes its way through the corridors..

Both literally and metaphorically The trip was empty. I have never been so bored. The ice was way too thick. I was aware that this would be the problem. The boat was forced to turn around and come back to civilization. This was not a surprise, but it meant that endless hours of unproductive time could have been used to listen to podcasts or watch videos for DIY home repair, as well being able to listen to music. Next time I will convert YouTube videos to mp4 and mp3 format using my laptop. then bring them with and enjoy my favourite tunes on my laptop. No need to be down music can always lift your spirits. Be aware that Netflix and Hulu apps allow you to download movies and shows onto your computer for viewing offline. These can also be taken with you for long journeys across the arctic. Make sure you don't get bored on boredom. Good luck!
