We will continue our studies in the meantime. Our favourite thing to do pick a few of the most well-known videos on Youtube and try to translate these into our native language. Sometimes, it's difficult as there are times when we encounter slang, slur, or bad language. We don't employ those words and instead try different alternatives. Sometimes it's reports about famous people, and sometimes it's actors, TV shows or even celebrities. Other times , it's rap starts or hip hop, country music, stars.. We talk frequently about famous people since they're always in the view and in the public eye. A lot of the time, we'd encounter garbage talk, so I started to make videos at home, censor them in some manner as well as select videos with more interesting talk that are more educational and not just a bunch of curse words riding on dirty insinuations. It isn't always possible to access wifi at school because we are far from all the towers. Additionally, there are times when our plans to see Youtube videos fail because we're not near enough.
Then I started downloading videos from Youtube before the lesson, which allowed me to easily prescreen the language in the video, as well as improve the overall quality and usefulness of the entire video, and if it's useless - I simply keep it, and if not, I delete it and proceed to the next. Sometimes I download 10-15 videos to use in the lesson. The program also deletes advertisements from the video. While it's beneficial, I don't wish for my children to be exposed to the advertisements I display at home. This is a privacy violation my view. So I put up 1.5-2 hours of videos knowing that I'd only utilize half of it. Children can be cruel. Sometimes they will make fun of certain videos while others will be awed by them.
The process of preparation for me is quite easy. I look up videos I'd like to download, then add them to a playlist I save secret for myself After that, I simply copy and paste the video playlist URLs and then head to any of the three websites I know can help. Converto was the first to try, followed by Y2mate. Finally, if the other three options fail 2conv is my preferred. The third one is usually the one I try last as it can be helpful with German videos, so it's very strictly for my situation and only for me, but it does not like playlists. Converto is great with playlists of videos. The program offers all of the videos it contains and allows you to download individual videos or convert them to MP3/MP4 format. Converto is secureand doesn't include advertisements, at least not currently. It also comes in several languages which makes it very useful for people all over the globe.
While Y2mate is usually my second option, there are occasions when it is my first option. It's not a big issue. However, I do not like the numerous redirects and advertising that Y2mate employs. It's too commercial and hard to use. You are constantly distracted by pop-ups. The same goes for 2conv. However, they are more subtle than static banners and, therefore, more attractive. There are translations for different languages, but they are not as good than the 1st choice. There is a more secure option however they're filled with dangers and malware if you accept anything they have to offer in the form of advertising you, so be aware when you decide to use them. Additionally, they provide a smaller number of sites that you can download videos from and convert it to MP3 or MP4, so beware, it is not as if they are unable to do it.
Then, I decide to work with more known people, rather than the newest websites. The ones that have managed to endure have been able to withstand constant attention by Big Sound, authorities and labels. I love being able to be assured that site I love to visit remains online. My Youtube converter is working well, so I return to it. It is worth giving it a try.
