8. The arrow should now be placed beside the ''Play' button in your main menu.
9. Go to Forge and select the version you need for your Minecraft version.
10. Select 'Latest Version'' or "Recommended". The most recent version is not always fully tested so we recommend selecting the Recommended version.
11. Click the Skip' button.
12. Launch your installer program and click Install Client.
13. Click 'OK,' and follow the onscreen instructions.
14. Open the Minecraft Launcher again, then ''Launch Options.''
15. Click 'Add New.
16. Open the dropdown menu next to the Version line, scroll down until you see "release [version]forge", and then click it.
17. Set the preferred RAM usage once more in the text box alongside JVM Arguments, and then click 'Save.
18. Navigate to the main menu and click the arrow beside the ''Play'' button.
19. Click Play and select the "release [version] Forge" option from dropdown menu.
20. Mods will be available once the game launches.
How to Install Minecraft Forge On Windows 10
The general steps to install Minecraft Forge are the same regardless of operating system. There are very few differences. Forge can now be installed on Windows 10 using the instructions below.
