How To Set Up Multiple Worlds On One Server (Multiverse)



In this guide we will cover the process of setting up your Minecraft server so that in can support multiple different worlds on the same server. Multiverse is a plugin that allows you to do this. This plugin requires that your Spigot or Bukkit type server is used. How to set-up Multiverse



Installation:



Multiverse Core - Download the latest version from - Here to your computer. Multiverse plugins add additional functionality. See the table below. - Multiverse-Portals features:



Create custom portals for any destination! Permissions can be used to restrict users from accessing certain portals.This that or the other Allow users to use certain portals by charging them! Exempt users from portal fees. Users can launch through the air when they enter a Multiverse Portal. Multiverse Portals can allow boats and minecarts. - Multiverse-NetherPortals features:



Have nether and end worlds per for any of your overworlds! Custom nether and end portals can be created in a world to go to a particular world Custom World Scaling is possible with NetherPortals (All types of worlds, normal, skylands and nether supported! - Multiverse-Inventories features:



Have separated players stats and inventories per world or per group of worlds. You can choose what each group of worlds shares: Inventories and Last Location (in a world that existed before teleporting), Health, Exp, Hunger, Health, and Spawns. Login to your Gamepanel. Click "File manager" to open your plugins folder. On the menu bar, click "Upload". Wait for the upload of the Multiverse core.jar file to be completed. Once the file has been uploaded, we can now configure Multiverse to find your server's current universes. Configuration (Importing your current worlds):



Multiverse configuration requires that you are an operator of servers (OP). If you don't have a server operator (OP), please read this guide: How to OP a Player



Login to your server. Type: /mv Import WORLD ENV Now replace WORLD by the folder name of your world and ENV by the environment type.



There are 3 currently available: normal, nether and end. If you forget these, you can always use /mv env. It will always list all these options.
