That's Quite Naive.



This year, I completed my undergraduate studies and graduated with a first in Artificial intelligence and computer science from the University of Edinburgh.



Unfortunately, McEwan hall was closed for refurbishment so I didn't graduate. As a result, the only time I've been able to appreciate McEwan was during my second year Probability exam. It was not a great moment to look at the ceiling's murals.



As a surrogate we used Usher hall, which is the venue most of the symphony and chamber music events are held .



Given how small the informatics class is, we were mixed in with the school of Engineering. In the end, we had two honorary degree speeches. I don't know what the engineering guy did.minecraft servers The Computer Science speaker got the deal to develop minecraft for the Xbox.



It's a reasonable guess.



One of the unique things about the University of Edinburgh is that we dont wear a mortarboard cap. Instead all graduates share the same cap. The vice-chancellor taps each student on the head as they walk across the stage.



Fun-fact: Piers Sellers offered to take the hat into space. Spaceships can explode (and the hat is a bit important) an emblem of the university was sent to space and later embroidered on the hat.



I was booed on the head with the space-hat.



I was fortunate enough to be able to buy enough tickets for my parents and grandparents. My family came over just a few weeks prior to my visit and we walked around Ireland and the highlands with them.



I had one ticket left and Jammy had a free-morning. Jam-Jam is the father of polar bears was able to attend my graduation.
