This Minecraft DnD Campaign Looks Spectacular

Minecraft puts a large focus on allowing players' imagination to be free. It's all about allowing you the freedom to design whatever you want, play how and when you'd like, and do what ever you desire. Minecraft is a game that caters to everyone regardless of their playstyle or preferences. Similar is the case with many tabletop RPG games, which is why it's odd that we've never thought about merging the two before.

Thankfully, Algarith isn't us; they're built different. Algarith is a Redditor, shared images of Yafran, an Elven City, which is part of their Minecraft DnD Game. This was to give players an understanding of the area. It is filled with NPCs and hostile NPCs made using the Chisel and Bits mod. This mod lets players create basic blocks more accurately within the game for an authentic and varied appearance. Algarith is able to manipulate various game pieces by following players while invisible.

It's a novel idea. Algarith believes that the time and effort needed to create a map worthy for a D&D campaign will be enormous, but it will be worthwhile as they are playing with their friends.

What's not in Minecraft that Algareth mentions is a way to streamline the experience. Mods that "includes dice rolling, pre-built miniatures, character sheet integration, etc." could make the game simpler to use, and there's definitely an opportunity for novice modders. We are concerned about what could happen if players go off the track. Algarith has plans to prevent that.
