The Daily Grind: Private VOIP Or In-Game?

One of the most beneficial things for many gamers who are in team settings (in PvP, raids, etc.)ua 7 Voice over IP (VOIP), software is available. Need to give out raid instructions? You don't have to type or enticing people with lengthy macros. You can now put on a headset and go. Of course, you have your pick -- games like EVE Online, Dungeons & Dragons Online, and even World of Warcraft have introduced VoIP. The interesting thing about VOIP is the fact that very few people actually use it.

This morning we thought we'd do something of an unscientific poll amongst the readers just to see what the unofficial Massively readers' thoughts are on this. Some of us think it's against public-in-game VoIP. Others warn that it's usually more expensive than running a server. You let us know -Do you use public VOIP or private servers? If you don't utilize the in-game systems, what is the reason? If you hate private servers, what made you off from them?
