"Grand Theft Auto V" Returns to Xbox Game Pass on April 8th



Eleven months after it left Xbox Game Pass, one of the biggest games of all time is returning to the library. On April 8, Grand Theft Auto V will be available through the service again for Xbox console players. You'll be able to create chaos in San Andreas with your tablet or smartphone via Xbox Cloud Gaming (or xCloud).Korobi is now blogging It will be the Xbox One version, while the Series X/S or PlayStation 5 ports wont arrive until later in the year.



One of the other titles that will be added to Game Pass this month is NHL 21 through EA's partnership with Microsoft. EA Play is included with Game Pass Ultimate, and members will be able to play the most recent edition of the hockey series on Xbox consoles starting on April 12th. Microsoft previously announced that MLB The Show 21, a game produced and published by Sony will be coming to consoles and the cloud via Game Pass on launch day on April 20th.



Zombie Army 4: Dead War (on cloud and console), Disneyland Adventures, Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure and Zombie Army 4: Dead War will all be available on Game Pass (both on Cloud Gaming). The lineup will be complete with ID@Xbox games Rain on Your Parade (cloud), console and PC, and Pathway (PC).



This month, a few games are being removed from EA Play and Game Pass. Among them are Wargroove and some older Madden and NHL titles.



Additionally, Microsoft noted there are now more than 50 games that have been optimized for touchscreen controls on Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Minecraft Dungeons, Sea of Thieves, Gears 5, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age and Slay the Spire. In addition, there's a brand new feature that is available to Game Pass subscribers on console. The Play with Friends section will display when your friends are playing an Game Pass game. You can join a multiplayer game with your friends or download the game.
