Minecraft and the Purge are together at The Last

Minecraft and The Purge are separate for a wide range of good reasons. While the sandbox game of the original definitely allows for a lot of freedom, it's still an activity primarily for children and so The Purge doesn't necessarily slot into. The internet isn't a thing that can be controlled, though this is why there's an online video that combines the two.

We're not saying that you don't make The Purge in Minecraft. Everyone has their own unique way of playing the game. For instance, the person who is done mining the entire Minecraft map after five years, or the players who have recreated MS Paint using Redstone. Someone even built a PC that was modeled after the Nintendo Wii, which manages to run Minecraft in stunning 4K. It has something for everyone. However, it's one of the most bizarre yet very entertaining videos we've seen.

Forge Labs, which creates many bizarre long-term challenges in games got a few Minecrafters together to spend one week in Minecraft building up wonderful homes and living their best lives. After the week was over, The Purge rules came into effect, which meant that everyone was free to do whatever they wanted, but mostly crimes.

Their latest video is barely two hours long, so it's a bit of a commitment however, it's somewhere in between being fascinating and deeply disturbing, and a very frank review of how human beings could behave if everything went awry.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the ruleset was the fact that players who died before the purge began would lose their heart for all time.Aare This meant that, even though players were encouraged to upgrade their own gear, it would always come with a price because the death of a player was detrimental. It's a great timepiece and we suggest it if you're working.
