Yes, the image you see above is a map that was created in Minecraft.A1host.Net It's part of a 16-kilometer-wide realistic terrain project that provides various topography options for you to build your own on. It's a stunning collection of deserts mountains, swamps, and forests that you can download and use as a background for your own Minecraft designs.



This map is dubbed Kythor and was created by Qwryzu using World Machine and World Painter. It took around two months to finish. "I deliberately designed this map with huge open spaces to build," qwryzu says, "specifically with mods (shoutout Immersive Railroading gang). Although it isn't the most detailed map I've ever made, I hope it can serve as a backdrop to large-scale builds.



You can download the map for yourself on Planet Minecraft. It's available for Java Edition, and while it was built in 1.12.2, it should be compatible with any current version but qwryzu doesn't know if the world height changes in 1.17 could cause issues.



You should take it seriously, however.
