One of the most unfounded myths about a vegetarian/vegan diet is that you have to combine different protein sources in the same meal to create a complete protein. We have denied this on many occasions; we even have a complete guide on proteins in vegan athletes.

DIFFERENCES WITH OTHER VEGAN PROTEINS

At Vegan Fit Store we have made a strong commitment to rice protein for various reasons:

Soy and pea protein, coming from legumes, in some people can cause stomach upset, gas, abdominal swelling... Not all this happens with rice protein.

Vegetarians and vegans tend to consume a lot of soy daily (vegetable meats, soy drinks, soy yogurts, soy sauces...), so we opt for a different shake, so as not to displace food or saturate soy intake.

The texture is much finer and more pleasant than pea protein, since pea protein naturally tends to have a more granular or sandy texture.
