We'd like to give an honorable mention to The Blockheads (APKMirror). It was a popular Minecraft alternative for a number of years however Noodlecake was forced to shut down the game down due to disagreements with Google Play. It's still great, but you have to install the APK yourself. We have a guide for this here if you require it.

LostMiner is very like Terraria. It uses 2D style gameplay, but also includes mining building, crafting, and mining various things. There are also animals, bad guys, and other things when you play. While the graphics aren't likely to be a hit but they do fit into the style of the game very well. The majority of complaints are related to bugs however, this is an independent game , so it is to be expected that there will be some bugs. However, the game is fairly inexpensive and surprisingly fun to play.
Pixel Worlds
Pixel Worlds is an enjoyable mix of MMO and Minecraft (or Terraria). Players are in an 2D world with a variety of mining and crafting mechanics. There are also dungeons and other things to explore. It's unique because it allows other players to join in the game. You can join servers already in progress or start your own for other players to join. It's a fantastic experience and it's cross-platform compatible with Mac and PC.

Roblox is often frequently compared to Minecraft even though Roblox is a lot bigger with a lot more stuff to do. Roblox is an online platform that lets users to play a variety of games developed by the community.Minecraft You can create and craft. They can also include puzzles, shooting and other stuff. Where Roblox and Minecraft cross paths in terms of freedom. Players can play any game they like and aren't bound by to a linear path. Although this high-level sandbox play is not like Minecraft It does feel a lot like Minecraft in certain respects.
Survivalcraft 1 & 2

Survivalcraft is among the closest Minecraft style games you can find. You end up moored on a shore of a block planet. The objective is to build stuff, craft things, make weapons and defend yourself, grow plants, and all of that things. This takes that special step further where you can construct functional machines that actually do things. Split screen mode allows you to play with up three players if you own the right device for it. Survivalcraft 2 hasn't seen an update since the year 2017, so we're a bit concerned that it's gone however it's playing perfectly for the moment.

Terraria is Minecrafts closest competitor. It features many of the same elements including mining, crafting and surviving, as well as killing occasionally a boss. This one is in an actual 2D space, not a 3D like Minecraft. Multiplayer with up to seven players, over 20 biomes to explore, NPCs that you can search for, and many other features are also included. This game wasn't available for at least a year, as it hadn't been updated in a while. But, it appears that the developers are back on track and are bringing it back. If you're a subscriber to Google Play Pass, this version is also free.
