YouTuber and Minecraft Streamer Technoblade, 23, is a Victim of Cancer.



YouTuber and Minecraft streamer Technoblade has passed away at the age of 23 after a year-long battle with stage four cancer.



The content creator from San Francisco who kept his identity a secret until revealing his name in the final video as "Alex" gained fame after posting videos of himself playing Minecraft online in 2013. He then gained more than 10,000,000 subscribers.



He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in August. He was able to spend the majority of the year away from the media undergoing chemotherapy.



While it is not known the type of cancer Alex was suffering from Alex was diagnosed with, he did raise money for charities fighting sarcoma - and in December he revealed that he had undergone surgery to remove a tumor on his arm.



In a video that was uploaded to Technoblade's YouTube channel on the day of the release, which was titled 'So long nerds', his father, whose name is unknown was able to share the sad announcement of his son's passing with his many fans and shared a posthumous message of condolence from the famous YouTube star.



He described his son as "the most remarkable child" and shared an audio recording of his son. He said that if he could have another hundred lives, he would choose to be Technoblade again because those were the best years of my life.

Technoblade, who was highly private and never shared personal details about his life. He mostly shared videos about the sandbox game Minecraft.



He was blessed with three younger sisters and a brother named Chris and Floof his dog who starred in his farewell video along with his father.



In one of his videos, he explained that his parents were divorced and that he stayed with his father who owns a movie studio.



After graduating from high school, he sat out a gap year before moving to Chicago where he attended college to become an English major.

However , he returned to San Francisco after dropping out.



In one of his videos, the man explained how he came up with the Tecnoblade channel for the sole purpose of building confidence and gaining 10 million subscribers.



He quickly built an army of millions of followers, sharing with them multiple videos of himself playing Minecraft, although he did not reveal his identity or name to his fans.



However in August in August, he announced the shocking news of his cancer diagnosis in a YouTube video entitled 'Where I've been'. It has since been viewed 13 million times.
