Which Mazda Models Are Available for Pre-Order in Sydney?

Mazda has lots of great vehicles already on the yard, but the cars that are just around the corner are even more exciting. Mazda's 2023 inventory is rolling off the factory floors and is heading to Sydney. Here's a preview of some of the new Mazda vehicles that will be available soon as Mazda Pre-orders, and what you can do to get one before they fly off the yard.

The First Mazda Plug-in Hybrid

If there's one Mazda you should seriously consider pre-ordering, it's the CX-60. It's the first Mazda PHEV, or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. PHEVs themselves are nothing new, which means that Mazda has the advantage of launching this car with very mature technology. The results are extremely impressive. For starters, just consider fuel economy. The CX-60 PHEV will sip a paltry 2 litres of fuel per 100km driven: a number far below even the most efficient petrol cars.

The combination of electric and petrol motors gives the CX-60 some serious power, too. You get 241kW and 500Nm of torque, making the CX-60 stronger than the burliest ute. That power translates to a sub-6-second 0-to-100km time. Of course, whenever you consider an electric vehicle, even a hybrid, range matters. Without consuming any petrol, the CX-60 will be able to travel 60km on a full charge, more than enough for the average Australian commute. Pre-order it now!

Mazda's First All-Electric Vehicle

Perhaps you're looking for a car that eschews petrol entirely. Well, Mazda has an option for you: The MX-30 Electric E35 Astina. The MX-30 already had a hybrid variant, the MX-30 M, but this new model will be entirely electric. What's more, it'll have every feature Mazda's ever designed. A 7” touchscreen, iconic freestyle doors, AC outlets and USB ports, Bose speakers, a 360-degree camera, automatic braking, and heated seats are all standard on the all-electric MX-30.

The MX-30 Electric will have a range of around 224km, which is plenty considering the average commute in the country is around 30km. You could go a whole week without charging! You can charge your car quickly using a home charge box provided by Mazda, or you can take advantage of the growing charger network in Australia. When neither of those options are available, a simple extension cord can get you up to speed overnight.

A Perennial Favourite Sports Car

We recommend pre-ordering cars that are likely to go out of stock fast. The Mazda MX-5 is one of those that tends to sell out quickly. Dealers typically only get a handful of the best trim levels, so if you're interested in the top-tier 2023 MX-5s, you should definitely pre-order. The RF GT RS, for example, will essentially be a street-legal track car with Brembo brakes and Bilstein shocks. Expect those to sell fast. Secure yours with a pre-order.

If you want to pre-order these or any of the other upcoming 2023 Mazda cars, all you need to do is visit your local Mazda dealer's website, find the page of the car you want, and send an inquiry. The dealer will get in touch with you to work out the details. So, pre-order now before your favourite Mazda is gone!
