It's an epic story of a man who is the ruler of a small nation, known as the Republic of Korea, and is also a powerful leader amongst his people. The movie is directed by Shimit Amin and follows Doo-sam's life as he struggles to navigate the complexities of running a successful drug empire. Amin plays a quiet but powerful character who commands respect. Kim Heo-Jung even adds one of the characters Park Tae-Soo who is a Korean-American journalist for an U.S. news network, and is a key element of the story.

Park Tae-Soo is a colorful character, whose loyalties are torn between his desire to bring the corruption of the Republic of Korea to heel and his desire to safeguard the welfare of his daughter. He is determined to protect Doo SAM's wife and children however, he also wants to ensure the security of the street children that he rescues every day. The movie focuses on Doo SAM's relationship with Kim Heo Jung who is the ultimate Gangsta. The two men desire the same thing, however their differing philosophies prevent them working together. The film is a mix of comedy and action as the duo defuse numerous attempts by the police to detain them.

Sang Doo Ri, a Korean film from the same movie franchise is another one worth your time. The film depicts the life of the drug lord, who is in charge over the nation, and tries to maintain order and the form of a Dynasty. Doo-Ri is the true story of Won-Heo-Koo.
