Prevent unwanted addition to groups
It has happened to all of us that sometimes without permission we are added to different groups or channels that the work may not be interesting and we do not like it to happen. There is a simple solution to this problem.
First, touch the Privacy and Security option in the Settings section. Select Groups. This section is set to Everybody by default, which you can set to My Contacts so that only your friends can add you to Telegram groups. Also, if a number of friends and people on the list still add you to Telegram groups without permission, you can define Never Allow at the bottom of the list so that your friends can not add you to groups and channels unintentionally.
You are called. After working with Telegram for a while, you may not want to work with the phone that you first registered with, or for example, you want to transfer or sell your phone line, or you have bought another new SIM card and you want to work with Telegram with that number. Telegram has a small setting for such situations, with which you can change the number registered in your Telegram account in a few short steps and transfer all your Telegram account information such as chats, photos and videos to a new number.
Note that by changing the phone number in Telegram, your previous number will be deleted from Telegram altogether. Your contacts will also be notified of your new number and will be able to see your number.
To change the phone number in Telegram, first open Telegram and enter Settings. On the page you see, your phone number is specified that you need to touch. Now touch Change Number. In the page you see, you have to enter the new number and then enter the activation code that Telegram sent to your new number. You will notice that your telegram will be transferred to the new number along with all its contents.
Set the time for automatic removal of Telegram
Self-destruct is another feature that allows Telegram to be deleted automatically after a period of inactivity. Go to Settings, the privacy option and the Self-destruct option allow users to notify Telegram that, for example, if they have not used Telegram for 6 months, it can delete their account.
