Save the Children is India’s significant independent child rights NGO, which works in 16 states. Beginning its journey on 27th December 2004 when it was registered as ‘Bal Raksha Bharat’ under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and under the Foreign Contributions Regulations Act 2010 on 23rd April 2008, it has changed the lives of more than 12.4 million children till March 2022. In India and across the world, Save the Children works on-ground – every day and especially in times of crisis. Our projects and interventions are designed to improve the lives of underprivileged children by helping them through different programs like education, health & nutrition, humanitarian response, child protection, poverty and inclusion.
