I have learned that there is a great need for compassion, companionship, advocacy, and support in end-of-life care. I work as an extension of the primary care providers to help with any shortcomings that may be present in a loved one&#039;s care. <br> <br>The dying process can be primarily medical, preparing for life but not for death. But it is not only medicine that is needed in one&#039;s declining years but life, a life with meaning, a life as rich and full as possible under the circumstances.
