Founded in 2009 by Calgary native Mark Hemstock, Hemstock Films has been a significant force in the film industry. After studying digital film and video production at the Art Institute of Vancouver, Hemstock began his career as a freelance Director of Photography and Director before launching his own company. With a strong reputation built over 17 years in Vancouver, Hemstock returned to Calgary to capitalize on the growing Alberta film industry. Notable achievements include producing the acclaimed documentary "PHI" and directing the mini-series "Angel Dust," which premiered on Amazon Prime.
