I've been trying to incorporate music from different locations in my music collection. I'm beginning to discover the popular music in different areas of the globe. I started with a few European monoliths, such as Germany, UK France Sweden Spain Portugal and so on. After spending hours on Youtube it seemed as if I had the knack of making Youtube provide me with the details I required. However, it wasn't that easy. The only thing one can view is the latest and popular music in their area, or even their country. And so I tried other websites that include the top 20 songs most popular songs on Youtube for their country.. There were a few that did, but the majority of it was old news and nobody wants to publish a blog on the top 20 songs every week. This is intended for television. Hit-parades and things like that.
I stayed in my search.. After a few weeks with no success in finding an online source of recent, current music from different countries, I decided it was time to end my search. The only option I had was to use a Firefox-based free proxy plugin. It allowed me to connect with the Internet through another country. So I could browse Youtube from Spain as well as Germany. This was very unreliable because such connections tend to be lost and slow, but it was a solution for me, so I tried it. I was frustrated by the limited selection of countries and the need to search out reliable sources.
It was the Top 20 most popular Youtube videos link. It would load approximately two dozen music videos currently in trend on Youtube on demand. I was given the USA chart first.. Following that I switched the language of the interface and chose German. It was surprising to see that Top 20 German trending music videos loaded.. It doesn't really matter what the reason and the quality of the service was outstanding. It was very easy and fast.
