The new Minecraft launcher is now available to download and install following the release of snapshot 21w44a.
Mojang's popular video game is still very popular. The good news is that Java Edition has joined Xbox Game Pass November. This month is especially good for Microsoft loyalists, as Forza Horizon 5 (and GTA San Andreas Remastered) are joining the subscription service's library.
Xbox Game Pass users now have the option to get the Java Edition for no cost, but PC players can download an update.

How to download the Minecraft Launcher
The new Minecraft launcher cannot be downloaded on Windows 10 after May 2019's update or Windows 11.
It's completely gratuitous and available from the Microsoft shop. All it does is allow you to launch the base game, Java Edition, and Dungeons from the same place.
There are a few things you need to know. Story Mode will not be available through the launcher as it's no longer supported, and the Education Edition is its own thing that needs to be downloaded.
How to install a new Minecraft Launcher
Mojang advises that you install the new Minecraft launcher onto your C: Drive.
The older version does not have to be deleted or uninstalled in order to install the newer one. If you have an older version of the software, you can simply upgrade via prompt or go to settings.
