Minecraft streamer and creator of content Technoblade has passed away after an prolonged battle with stage four cancer His family announced his death today in a public statement and a video.
Techno previously announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer in August. He had been updating his followers about his situation while continuing to receive treatment and produce content on YouTube.
Techno's father, Techno, narrates a final posthumous note titled "so long geeks" which was written to mark the occasion. It was filled with the creator's signature dry humor and dark humor. But it also serves as an ultimate "thank you" to all those who have supported the Minecraft star throughout the years.

"Thank you all for your support of my content over the years. If I had another hundred lives I'm sure I'd prefer to be Technoblade over and over again. Because those were the most happy years of my life." Techno said.

Techno who is revealed to be Alex, discusses how the money he made from merch sales and other "sell-out" pushes over the last year has been used to send his siblings off to college. He also thanked his viewers for allowing him to share such happy moments with them. A slideshow that showcases him through the various stages of his treatment is displayed on the screen.
Following Techno's final message, his father details how he originally intended to write and record the video prior to his death, but his deteriorating health and other factors prevented the process from happening. His father claimed that he composed the message in the hospital and passed away around eight hours after.
Technoblade's father claimed that Technoblade was "the most amazing child that anyone could ever ask for." "I really miss Technoblade. Thank you to all of you, for everything.
