ALTON BEDONIE NUMBER EIGHT SPIDERWEB TURQUOISE BELT BUCKLE

Number Eight turquoise was mined from the 1930s until the early 1970s with the highest production in the 1940s. Today it is only found in small private collections. The large natural cabochon in this beautiful buckle is a rarity for its size and quality. The specimen is classic glacial blue with flushes of sky blue and gold spiderweb matrix. It sits in Alton’s exceptional high hand chiseled bezel atop a starburst design. The starburst was overlaid on Alton’s innovative buckle face, cutout with marvelous precision and deeply stamped with sweeping flairs. Brightly polished half beads accent the design.

RAMON DALANGYAWMA RED WEB KINGMAN TURQUOISE WEATHER PATTERN DANGLE EARRINGS

The posts of these beautiful earrings by Ramon Dalangyawma feature chiseled bezels with fine natural spiderweb turquoise from the Kingman mine located in northwest Arizona. The dangles are overlaid with unique weather pattern designs. When worn they make a statement of sophistication and beauty.

SUNSHINE REEVES STONE MOUNTAIN TURQUOISE BELT BUCKLE

Sunshine has created this fine buckle, deeply stamped using a shooting star design. A large oval turquoise cabochon sits in the center in a hand made bezel. The gem is from the old Harcross claim located in the extreme Northwest corner of Nevada. The claim was discovered in the 1930s and was mined sporadically. It was renamed Stone Mountain in the 1970s, mined a bit by hand then sold to a gold exploration company. The natural cabochon in this piece is a superb example of the very finest gem grade. The depth of the stone is outstanding with marvelous hues of deep hunter green with vibrant golden-brown matrix.

SUNSHINE REEVES PEACOCK SPIDERWEB VARISCITE BELT BUCKLE

A marvelous large Peacock variscite was chosen for this fine buckle hand made by Sunshine Reeves. The natural gem is olive in hue with complex green and black spiderweb matrix. Peacock is a hat claim located in the Crescent Valley region of north central Nevada. It produced a small amount of material over a decade ago. It is set in a hand made bezel atop Sunshine’s signature buckle face, deeply stamped with precision using his home made tools.

HERMAN SMITH BLUE GEM TURQUOISE REPOSSE BELT BUCKLE

A beautiful old Blue Gem turquoise was chosen to sit in a hand made bezel atop this fine buckle by Herman Smith. The natural cabochon is the signature look of this famous depleted claim, deep aqua green with electric reddish-brown matrix. It contrasts finely with the quality of the elegant stamp work. Herman uses his home made tools with precision to create a design that reflects decades of silver smithing.
