Thyme essential oil is extracted from plant through steam/hydro distillation. Thyme is an herb in the mint family, which is often used as a spice in cooking. Thyme oil acts as a mouthwash for maintaining your oral health. Add a drop of the oil to a cup of warm water and use it as a mouthwash.
It works as an anti-inflammatory drug. Take and dab a few drops of thyme essential oil on your temples and forehead. At last, gently rub it into your skin and wash it out.
For treating acne, you can use thyme oil along with witch hazel oil. Blend the two in hot water for about 20 minutes. Then, use a cotton ball to apply to the affected areas and wait for 20 minutes and wash with warm water.
