Many people asked us if we only provide Vietnam motorbike tours off-road and the answer is “not just that“. Vietnam Offroad and Offroad Vietnam are our registered trade names. However, they don’t mean we only offer dirt biking. In fact, we ride on a variety of roads, from rough roads, gravel roads, single tracks, goat tracks to sealed roads. We use dual enduro and sport-touring motorbikes, no motocross so extreme dirt biking is not available. Roads in Vietnam have been upgrading and the quality is getting better and better. In reality, we ride on many hidden roads, back roads, and local goat tracks many people don’t know. Let us show you another Vietnam that most tourists to Vietnam never see.

From our experience, people tend to save when they pay to spend on the road. This is not worth it. TYPICAL VIETNAM MOTORBIKE ROUTES
To choose a trip of your lifetime, please check the routes we suggest below in the areas you probably want to ride. If you feel you want something more, beyond the norm, then contact us to discuss your plan(s).
This is the most popular area we ride in Vietnam. The region offers some of the best views, friendly people, warm homestays, and good food. Dong Van GeoPark and Sunday markets are the highlights of this loop. In fact, there are many alternative options that allow us to customize a ride to work with any changing expectations from the customers. Allow 6 to 13 days to ride this trip.
Scenic Ha Giang & Northeast Motorbike Tours
One of the wildest areas for motorbike riders in Vietnam through the high mountains, former battlefields, and Sapa. In addition, it’s also one of the quietest corners with fewer tourists. There are many off-road tracks in this area, especially in the less-populated provinces like Lai Chau, Dien Bien, and Son La. You should need from 4 days to 10 days to do this loop.
North-west Vietnam Dirt Bike Adventures
This is one of the most scenic parts for riding your motorbike in Vietnam with the famous Highway 4 and Ban Gioc impressive waterfalls. Although the mountains are not as high as in Ha Giang or Northwest, it’s still challenging. In addition, there are many landslides in the rainy season that make your rides more challenging. You can do it from 3 to 8 days and the more days you have the more ground you can cover.
North-east Vietnam Rides On Two Wheels
You can find some of the highest mountains in Vietnam on this loop, which’s on the Hoang Lien range. Fansipan is the roof of Indochina and also the highest point in Vietnam. In addition, Sapa is a great mountain retreat that is worth visiting, especially in summer. Between 3 and 7 days is good to explore this area.
Central North Vietnam Motorcycle Tours
As the name suggests, this is a combination of all the three areas in Northern Vietnam that we mentioned above. It has almost everything that Northern Vietnam has to offer. However, it takes around two weeks and you will definitely some of the best experiences riding in Vietnam.
Do you probably notice this name? Yes, it’s the most famous name in Vietnam and his name was also used for the largest city of Vietnam, the longest road in the country, and more. It’s the backbone of Vietnam and you will fully explore a real Vietnam from North to South. In the late 2000s, BBC’s Top Gear Vietnam Special was shot the first and only time about two wheels and mainly on this road. You can now retrace that show route in between 9 and 16 days with different ending destinations.

There is no better weekend escape from Hanoi that has amazing things in just two days like Mai Chau and Hoa Binh. You meet mainly Thai people, one of the nicest people in Asia. The landscape, roads, tracks, villages, and other things offer us different routes to suit any riding level.
One Day Tour Around Hanoi Motorbiking
In just a day, we will show you a completely different Hanoi. There are so many options around like villages, mountains, rivers, boat cruise, cable cars, and of course the off-road tracks. Vietnam Easy Scooter Tours From Hanoi
Here comes the easiest option for riding in Vietnam. Whether you are a newbie, novice riders, or experienced riders, scooters work for you but best on the nicely sealed road. We discontinued all older 110–125cc motorbikes that many shops in Hanoi still use. Scooters are only for long-term rentals in Hanoi as a commuter. These models are very reliable. We, in fact, encourage our customers to choose these bikes because they are just fine for Vietnamese traffic.

Off-Road Motorbikes
All 250cc off-road dual enduro bikes are Japanese Honda CRF250L, which were made between 2013 and 2017, owned and serviced by ourselves. They are among the best dual enduro bikes you can find in Hanoi. They are very reliable and handle Vietnamese roads well.
Note: None of our bikes is ideal for riding two-up because small bikes have a small and skinny seat. As you probably know for large foreigners, the entry bike is from 650cc so don’t expect much from a bike under 250cc. If you choose to ride two-up, expect some discomfort and stop very often, or buy an extra cushion. We are honest about bike conditions and if you want freedom of mind, book a guided tour and our guide takes care of the bikes.
