South Korea's Seon-woo Bae finished runner-up at the Toto Japan Classic ($2 million purse) on the Women's Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour.

Bae shot a 5-under 67 with six birdies and one bogey in the fourth round on the final day of the tournament at Taiheiyo Club Minori Course (Par 72, 6,598 yards) in Omitama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan.

With a final total of 21-under par 267, Bae is tied for second place with Shiho Kuwaki (JPN).

Bae, who has four wins on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour and two on the Japan Ladies Professional Golf (JLPGA) Tour, finished as the runner-up by one stroke in the event, which was co-hosted by the LPGA Tour and JLPGA Tour.

Bae was tied for the lead with Inami Monet (JPN) when she finished at 21-under par, but Inami birdied the 17th hole (par-5) to take a one-stroke lead and eventually win the title with a final total of 22-under par 266, one stroke ahead of second place.

Inami, a silver medalist at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, improved to 13-0 on the JLPGA Tour. It was her first win on the LPGA Tour. She earned $300,000 (approximately $390,00 for her victory.

Shin carded one eagle, six birdies and one bogey on the day to finish with a 7-under 65 and tied for fourth place with a final total of 20-under 268.

After completing the Asian Swing in October, which took the LPGA Tour through China, South Korea, Malaysia and Japan, the Tour will return to the United States for the remaining two events of the 2023 season.

The Annika Driven on Sept. 9 and the CME Group Tour Championship on Sept. 16 will both take place in Florida.
