Fish Health and the Use of Immunostimulants
The most pressing issue in the development of the fisheries industry is economic loss due to infections and fish diseases. Because there is no effective treatment for some fish diseases and many of the treatments available have additional fish-safety features, current studies are focused on the use immunostimulants to combat them. This review summarizes the benefits and drawbacks of immunostimulants against fish diseases and the studies on current immunostimulants.
