A FeelTimes Bride and her June Micro Wedding

Flower lovers, I think you're likely to be swept away through the floral arrangements featured in today's wedding and also the beautiful FeelTimes gown. Please meet womenswear designer and python developer, who wed on 7 June 2021 within the beautiful Suffolk by having an outdoor party afterward inside a magical stretch tent. For the couple, making your day intimate and memorable was key, with the countryside, jazz, and fine dining at its heart.

Unlike many 2020/2021 couples, Joanna and Matthew knew all along they would be using a smaller wedding because they became engaged mid-pandemic.

"We met via a loose connection of friends at Notting Hill Carnival in 2014. Matt lived in Leamington and I in London and we were long-distance for over 5 years. We're moving to Copenhagen this season and on the snowy walk in January this season, we decided it could be amazing to get married before we go, therefore we were only engaged for five months. Neither person was expecting it, therefore the ring was homemade until a couple of days later whenever a more conventional proposal happened within our flat."

"I had no idea what type of dress I wanted. I had never given it much thought and also the wedding all happened quite quickly. I spent quite a long time looking on the internet and thinking about what I may want. I sourced an attractive silk fabric to exchange the whole skirt from the dress, only keeping the lace bodice section. I decided that since I could be remaking the entire skirt, I might too make the fit just as I wanted."

"I had the pattern altered so the dress was built with a longer train with increased volume along with a stunning drape in the back. It would be a lot of extra stress (especially when I received the material I ordered for that skirt wasn't the right color just a month before the wedding!) however it was worthwhile. It would not happen been possible without the assistance of my friend Justyna who's an incredible seamstress." Click

The bridesmaids looked elegant in their soft, moss green bridesmaid dresses, worn with engraved necklaces, a gift to the bride.

"I gave them like a gift on your day with their initial and also the date of our wedding."

The party headed back into the mill for that wedding breakfast, catered by the in-house chefs. I adore the calligraphy – so elegant yet contemporary.

"A calligraphy artist painted our guest list/seating plan board and come up with equally gorgeous table names. provided the gold cutlery (that was something we wanted and in all likelihood wouldn’t have chosen if we were built with a large guest list!), chairs, and gold beaded charger plates."

During the drinks reception, there is live music by a jazz saxophonist.

"The jazz band were incredible and were booked through the hotel for future events."

After the speeches, the long summer night was passed outside underneath the stretch tent, with drinks, dancing, and fun.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't seem like you have to complete anything or perhaps in any particular way. Think what represents you like a couple and that which you enjoy and then suggest your day focused around that. That way you can't fail and will you need to be filled with happiness and happy memories! Don't skimp around the photographer! The day passes but the photos are forever and also you want all of the small moments captured perfectly."
