The second author of the Communist Manifesto, Friedrich Engels the, sometimes anglicised as Frederick Engels, was a German philosopher, a critic of political economy, historian, political theorist and revolutionary socialist. He was also a businessman, journalist and political activist, whose father was an owner of large textile factories in Salford and Barmen, Prussia.
In the last paragraph of the Manifesto, the authors call for a "forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions", which served as a call for communist revolutions around the world. The Communist Manifesto is divided into a preamble and four sections, the last of these is a short conclusion.
