What is used in batik Print?

How to do batik print?
Hot and molten wax is used for durable dyeing in batik printdress material. In this, lines or dots are drawn at places where you want to avoid spreading the colour on the garment. Wax is applied with a brush or pen, usually with a spouting tool called tangenting/canting. A stiff brush is used for larger and wider patterns. There is also another drawing technique, in which stamps are used in places,where the patterns of the dresses are comprehensive and very effortless; patterns need to be drawn on both sides of the fabric. The cloth is first washed and then beaten with a mallet. After the pattern is drawn, the fabrics are dyed the preferred colour.The wax on the clothing is then removed with hot water. After the resistance is removed, the original colour of the garment is reversed to the dyed, coloured area. Since the wax resists colour, the final stage of the garment is a beautiful fabric with creative and intricate patterns.

There is a lot of difference of opinion in this regard. The oldest specimens have been found in the Indonesian island of Java, which date back to the twelfth century. Countries of the Middle East, Egypt, Turkey, China, Japan and West Africa have also found specimens of ancient batik art, but they are not as artistic as Indian and Indonesian textiles. India has been famous for its artistic printing on textiles since time immemorial. Here batik art was at its zenith when it had not even started in Europe and other countries. Due to the lack of proper patronage during the reign of the Mughals and the British, this art gradually began to disappear, but after independence, after getting proper protection and encouragement by the government, this art started to flourish again. In South India, work has been done in the Shilp village Cholamandal near Chennai, and both the provinces of West Bengal and Tamil Nadu are rich in this art, but the main difference between these two styles is that the batik of Bengal Alpana-like figures are predominant in art, but in South India, more preference is given to figures of gods and goddesses and dance postures.
