I am aware that stray cats can be unpredictable. I have personally invited in one cat that was stray this winter. It was extremely cold in my area during month of January and February. My milk and water for cats that were stray were frozen. I purchased special heating pads to keep them from freezing. However, it was not effective on cold winter days. In the morning, I would find frozen milk containers and licked-thru spots. This can lead to milk that is thicker and more creamy that is more difficult to freeze and requires cooler temperatures. In any case the cat is now coming in each day for food and drinks, staying overnight and in the morning she's off on adventures..
Why am I trying to raise her? Well, same as with dogs, though cats are smaller however, they're still as extremely dangerous and unpredictable as dogs are. Although cats don't suffer the same risks as dogs' teeth, claws on cats are just as risky. Cats can also bite dogs just like dogs. While no cat is able to cause as much harm as a great danecan, there's a fine line. If she's not my cat, could she bite me? Will I be able to get her to release her claws? Would that leave her less equipped for outside life which is where she spends the majority of her time? I don't know.. But one thing is for sure, she enjoys watching videos of mice on Youtube.. Haha, she can sit for long hours watching them slip in and out of their hole.. It's impossible to keep watching these videos over and over again so I downloaded the most popular online video downloading website. This enabled me to save videos to my desktop as mp4s. Then I can simply play them using VLC whenever the cat is present. It's amazing to see that she's having such a blast.
