The way a character is dressed may make or break both their personality and look. Choosing how a character is dressed is a PR move in and of itself since it presents the character as the sum of their parts. We've prepared a collection of costumes and accessories that genuinely characterize these game series and their characters, inspired by the release of Watch Dogs and the titular character's one-of-a-kind Watch Dogs Wrench Vest.

Aiden Pierce Coat _ Watch Dogs

Aiden Pierce in Watch Dogs is a classic. The vigilante of the game is not only equipped with a killer fighting style but also a killer fashion sense. His fashion speaks of him in general. He is the guy who focuses more on being in the moment. You will not see him wearing any item in which he would not be able to move around with agility. He wears a sweater that is full-sleeved and has thumb holes. On top of the sweater, the character is always seen wearing the Watch Dogs Aiden Pearce Coat. The character, coupled with his hat and boots, brings the entire "vigilante" aura together!

Mario – Super Mario Bros.

Mario's distinctive look has remained the same since his NES debut till his appearance in Super Mario 3D World Mario. Over the course of his career, he has experimented with many clothes (Dr. Mario, Frog Suit, Flying Squirrel), but he always returns to his tried and true overalls, gloves, and renowned hat.

The Assassins – Assassin's Creed

These eagle-head-shaped hoods have a dual purpose: they hide the identities of the Assassins. They wear them while also making them seem formidable. With such a large number of members, being the Assassin Order's tailor must be difficult. But the end product is well worth it. This famous hood instills dread in the minds of the Assassin's victims. However, with such uniform attire, one has to question why Templars can never tell Assassins apart from a crowd.

Link – The Legend of Zelda

Although Miyamoto acknowledges that Link's green costume was inspired by Peter Pan, we believe the Hero of Time has gotten a lot more mileage out of everything. You know Ganon shivers in his boots when he spots the green-clad warrior headed his way, whether Link starts the game in his signature gear or the player has to earn it.

Ryu – Street Fighter

Every fighting game series has its own iconic character, but few are as well-known as Ryu. In fact, his appearance is so famous that several other action games at the time produced their own Ryu clones. But none can equal the popularity of Street Fighter's Hadouken-slinging superstar.

Scorpion/Sub Zero – Mortal Kombat

When Mortal Kombat originally came out, the creators may have thought that their martial artist character Liu Kang would become the franchise's face. They had no idea that the ninja's Scorpion and Sub-Zero would become the most popular of their warriors. Two ninjas eventually grew to 10, each wearing a different color, but Scorpion and Sub-Zero remained the favorites. Despite the fact that their designs have varied to make each ninja more distinct. They both wear their signature colors and face masks.

Commander Shepard – Mass Effect

In the Mass Effect series, Commander Shepard can wear a variety of types of armor! But none are nearly as iconic as the N7 armor. The smooth metal plating of Shepard's armor makes him look nearly agile on the battlefield. At the same time, the sleek red and white stripe down its right arm might be the call sign of a natural-born leader.

Big Daddy – BioShock

The first time you encounter a Big Daddy up close in BioShock is unforgettable. You can't help but notice the massive brute's frightening figure as he digs into a splicer with his drill. Rust splatters his metal frame, and his helmet's crimson lights glow brightly. His drill spins at a fast rate, belying its size. What horror lurks within this rusted suit? The Big Daddies' real appearance is never revealed in the BioShock series. Their diving costumes are enough to make a lasting impression. And perhaps a few nightmares.

Master Chief - Halo

Master Chief's MJOLNIR has a chilly, menacing face that allows John-117 to control alien hordes without fear of cranial injury. More significantly, the helmet's effect goes beyond the screen. By hiding John's face, it allows players to fully immerse themselves in the Spartan experience. Thus, making it a strength of both the armor and the character.

Nathan Drake – Uncharted

In the realm of fashion, there's something to be said about simplicity, and Nathan Drake understands this. He may not be wearing suits and suspenders like some of the other well-dressed men on our list, but it doesn't indicate that he isn't fashionable. Whereas the rest of the guys on this list are ready for GQ covers, Nathan is really into the Old Navy spokesman style, which we approve of. A well-fitting shirt and a great pair of cargos may make you appear like a gorgeous explorer, and sometimes that's all you need. Not to mention the time Nathan took it up a level by adding a scarf into the mix on the spur of the moment.

Bayonetta – Bayonetta

Bayonetta is the only one who can carry off the lethal dominatrix appearance. This lethal witch pushes the boundaries of several current fashion trends while also trying to pull off some outlandish outfits that only work for her because, well, she's Bayonetta. Who will dare to challenge her outfit and live to tell the tale?

By sporting a complete leather bodysuit with exposing cuts, Bayonetta set the standard on the bodysuit trend. Bayonetta's iconic outfit is the epitome of fringe-plasticity. As if that wasn't quite enough to make her one of the most fashionable video game characters of all time. Keep in mind that she's constantly rocking elegant and lethal haircuts, as well as smart, simple spectacles that serve as the perfect finishing touch to a beautiful ensemble. Oh, and did we say something about the gun boots? Yeah. A shoe with a gun. I'm not sure what else is high fashion if that isn't it.

Lightning – Final Fantasy XIII

In terms of character design, the Final Fantasy franchise boasts an impressive ensemble. Lulu wears a fur-trimmed black gown with a variety of pointless but cool-looking belts at the bottom. Tifa's look is basic but timeless, combining sensuality and sophistication in one easy effort. And what about Rydia? She was almost granted this position on the list because of her green hair, thigh-high boots that really attach to her waistband, and the way her clothing wraps about her. Almost. Because it's difficult to dispute that Lightning is Final Fantasy's genuine fashion queen.

In Final Fantasy XIII, Lightning's appearance is edgy and feminine. Her pale pink hair seems like it belongs on every girl's Pinterest board, and she's one of the few characters who can pull off an ensemble with so many straps and belts without it appearing corny or distracting. She just looks cool while being really attractive. Of course, that's not the most important reason why she's the reigning Final Fantasy fashion queen. Lightning is a fashion model for Louis Vuitton when she isn't annihilating her foes with her gun blade. Last year, Lightning was cast as a genuine model in a Louis Vuitton commercial campaign. She even spoke with The Telegraph about her new career in haute couture.

Sam Fisher - Splinter Cell

Sam Fisher's goggles aren't the most logical piece of gear. Their three brilliant lights make them undetectable to attackers even in complete darkness. But their design is based on real-world technology. Depending on the title, it performs various tasks (such as night/thermal/sonar vision and EMF detection), but it always aids Fisher in turning the tide of battle in his favor. Its activation sound effect is also one of the most recognizable in all stealth gaming.

Ludger Will Kresnik – Tales of Xillia 2

Ludger wears a stylish suit and carries a range of weaponry to aid him on his perilous voyage. It's one thing to wear a good dress shirt and pants, but when Ludger manages to make suspenders seem attractive, he has truly demonstrated his sense of style.

Certainly, his ability to expertly wield a number of weapons is remarkable, and he looks very awesome while employing his chromatus powers, but all of that pales in comparison to how wonderfully Ludger dresses on a daily basis. Ludger Will Kresnik looks like he's wearing on the cover of GQ, from his well-tailored suit to the edgy black patch in his hair.

Agent 47 – Hitman

We've already addressed several well-dressed men on this list, but Agent 47 still reigns supreme when it comes to kicking butt in the most perfectly fitting suit in the land. Anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of menswear can look at the star of Hitman and be confident that every hem is in the proper position. Agent 47's dapper choice of clothing is very seldom out of place in the world of fashion, despite the fact that he spends the vast majority of his time fulfilling lethal contracts. He's not a scumbag. He's astute. He's a threat. It's fantastic.
