Minecraft Update 1.8 Is (officially) Live

We've learned that Minecraft version 1.18 (also known as the "Adventure Update") is available for download semi-officially since last week. This came after an Mojang developer released the update with the studio's blessing.Minecraft games If you don't feel like searching for the file, you can now download the patch via the Minecraft launcher, where it was recently made available to all users.

This isn't something that we would have thought would cause much concern to our more advanced file-hunting readers. If you are worried about downloading an update for your game that could secretly be a bestiality pornovirus it is possible to download the update now without any concerns.
