To download the Minecraft Forge mod loader, visit Minecraft Forge We recommend that you choose the installer-win (or installer in the event that your operating system is not supported). It is simpler to use.

Part 2: Install Mod Loader Note : Make sure you have the correct Minecraft version installed on your computer before install the Mod Loader.

1. To install, start the installer. Click on the Install Client and press OK.

2. The installer will begin with the patching of the version files and downloading any libraries available from the internet.

NOTE: Cracked launchers can cause the installation process to fail. Refer to this tutorial to fix it.

3. When you launch the Minecraft launcher, you will discover that a profile named Forge is added into your profile list. You can remove the profile and then create your own profile to select the Forge version manually.

OPTIONAL: You can delete your Forge profile and change the version name to whatever you like. However this requires additional skills, which I won't discuss here.

Part 3: Install Mod 1.SYSTEM32.INFO Check your AppData folder for.minecraft and open it up to look for mods. If you don't see it create one.

2. Google for some mods! I'm currently using Minimap mod. You must ensure that you are running the correct version of the mod installed or it won't work!

NOTE: Before installing any mod, ensure you read the description requirements, the description, and even the help!

3. Cut/Copy and paste the mod (Usually in .jar file) into the mods folder in .minecraft.

Part 4: Loading Mod into game Start the Forge Minecraft version. This screen will pop up. If the installation is correct, you'll end up with the number of mods installed plus 3 on the bottom left screen.

NOTE 1 : If you install many mods at once you may find it incompatible with other mods. To determine if you have any incompatible mods, be sure you check their mod pages. Note 2: Install mods one by one to determine which will cause the game to crash. This makes it easier to fix mod issues.
