Here is me enjoying Bedrock Minecraft on my M1 Air with all video settings set to max, 70 degree area of view, and Render Distance at 32 chunks.

This is the newest version of Minecraft. I personal it on iPad, so I simply downloaded the .ipa file from my iPad and it put in high-quality on my Mac. It runs very quick, and allows up to an 80 chunk draw distance. I used a PS4 controller to play. It can join through bluetooth or USB.

This is not excellent yet, because it ought to play full display/res vs. enjoying in a window. But my level is that it will be trivial for Microsoft to update this to work perfectly on this Mac.

Let me know in case you have any questions or if there is a particular thing you would like to see me do like connect with a server or download one thing from the store (all of which work). Or I can play multiplayer when you want to see that.

Sorry there isn't a sound in the recording. It doesn't appear just like the macOS in-built display screen recorder can seize sound. I can guarantee you all Minecraft sounds are working high quality.

Wait, how would you replace this? Would you have to replace it on your iPad and download the .ipa to your Mac again? And where are the world information stored?

I hope Mojang updates bedrock to work with M1 Macs. Until then, you should utilize Bignox, an Android Emulator, on your Mac. The explanation I say Bignox as a substitute of BlueStacks is because for Minecraft PE, Bignox has inbuilt controls.

I'd like to be mistaken, however I would not get your hopes up for a proper Mac version anytime soon. The code base is already there, however they seem to need to leverage Minecraft as a Home windows 10 unique.

Then why not leverage it as a Xbox unique additionally? They ported the bedrock edition to Playstation 4.

Sure. Anything you've gotten up to date on your iPad appears in iMazing and you'll download the .ipa once more. I just upgraded to the newest version this fashion and it really works shortly and easily.

And, they currently have it below macOS for Java. Bedrock would connect a good number of users already in the macOS ecosystem with their In App Purchases, which would make them no small amount of money, probably value taking the small effort to tweak the iOS model. Plus, they wouldnt must support the Java version natively on M1 machines.

Id be surprised if they didnt have somebody engaged on this already.

Running the iPhone ipa works high quality on my M1 MacBook Professional positive, but the controller assist appears broken, it drifts and sticks, so it is at all times spinning off in random directions.

Anybody else running into controller issues with Minecraft on an M1?

Sure. As of Big Sur 11.1 all iOS apps can run full screen.

Caveats:
- It's 4:3 on a 16:9 display so you end up with black bars on the sides.
- The lower resolution is more noticeable when in full display.

Remember this is basically the iPad app working on Mac. It is very quick because it runs native. However there are limitations because it would not actually "know" it is on a better decision MacBook/Mini.

Simply fired it up and performed some time using my DS4 on Bluetooth. No drift or every other problems. Usually that could be what occurs when the stick is dying (I've a couple useless DS4s with this drawback). But that's odd if it's happening with two completely different controllers. Do you will have a special DS4 you can strive? What version Minecraft are you running (lower proper nook on essential menu).

Does the issue happen instantly, or only after you play for a while? I only performed about 10 minutes tonight; but may attempt longer tomorrow.

If you use spotlight to seek for "Minecraft" you can find the worlds. On my machine the trail seems to be like this:

Code:
/Users/MK500/Library/Containers/blah-blah-long-code-right here/Information/Documents/video games/com.mojang

Are you able to ship a video tutorial for this? I'm undecided how you'll get the new world recordsdata to the new .ipa. Additionally, if you install Minecraft through iOS, will the resolution/side ratio like an iPad or an iPhone? (sorry for late reply, by some means i didn't get an e mail notification)
Edit: really nvm, i found a youtube remark saying you can launch app retailer in imazing and download updates that way (syncing via wi-fi)

Because it happens I did this yesterday. I used the Apple Configurator 2 method, however it's a lot the identical. Quite simple, but the trick was to airdrop the .ipa to the Apple Silicon Mac (i.e. use another Mac to get the .ipa from the iPad after which airdrop). This step removes the "you would not have permission to run this" error message.

The aspect ratio is 4:3, so in full display I have black bars on either aspect on my 16:9 32" 4K show.

The .ipa is the app, not your world or save files. You'd have to retrieve those via your account or airdrop the world files. In my case the world we used was a realm, so just log-in together with your Microsoft account for Minecraft. I've used airdrop to switch worlds to and from my kids's devices.

I mean, I assume that is kinda annoying you need to do that every replace, however it is not too bad. And it is working natively, so that's good.

In all probability simply wishful pondering, however I questioned if the next replace would possibly deliver official M1 assist for bedrock Minecraft with native show sizing and an possibility keyboard and mouse controls.

I also used my M1 mini (16GB/1TB) as a Minecraft server using ARM64 Java. Predictably no drawback at all for the mini.

I can by no means get keyboard and mouse to work on iPad or M1. I don't perceive why it's exhibiting to have keyboard help however nothing works. Is there a special setting I am missing? The only method to play is thru controller it appears.

Same right here. Have to make use of a controller (or contact screen on iPad). Mouse on M1 acts like a finger on touchscreen. Keyboard is just for chat/commands. Strange that they left the redundant keyboard mouse section of the settings menu in when it does nothing.

You are not missing settings: despite iOS 14's latest addition for apps to add keyboard controls, Mojang hasn't added that into Minecraft PE. The only way is a controller, until Mojang provides that in.

It is unusual, why have it there if it is useless?

The worlds usually are not removed if you replace the app, as they're saved in a different location. So you may safely update with out dropping your knowledge.

For now it's once more attainable to put in iOS apps to M1. It is unsure how lengthy this is. So, would possibly wish to obtain and install while it is doable. The iAmaizing2 resolution worked for me.
