Get Minecraft Education Edition For Free!



Anyone can download Minecraft: Education Edition free! There are two ways to test Minecraft Education Edition at no cost, either via the trial that is free or the demo lesson. You will require an account to access the trial for free, or an Office 365 Education or Microsoft 365 account. The demo lesson does not require an account or login. This article gives information on how to utilize the trial for free and the demo lesson.



Technical requirements



Minecraft: Education Edition can be played on Chromebook, iPad, Mac, and PC. To make sure that Minecraft: Education Edition is compatible with your device, please review the System Requirements article.



About the trial free



The trial version for free is fully functional and comes with all the features available in the paid version. The trial is compatible with Code Connection and Classroom Mode. The trial is limited to the number of logins (25 for teachers with an Office 365 Education account and 10 for all other users) before you can purchase a paid license to continue playing. Trial logins cannot be refreshed. If you have any issues, you should contact our support team immediately so you don't use all your trial logins! After your trial logins have been used, Minecraft: Education Edition is available to purchase.

Select the Minecraft: Education Edition version you wish to download from the Get Minecraft download page. Install the version of Minecraft: Education Edition that you downloaded. About the demo lessons



Demo lessons let you try Minecraft Education Edition for free and without registration. The demo lessons are limited in capabilities, for instance, the worlds and progress can't be saved, and it is not possible to host or join an online game. You can experience a real Minecraft lesson by playing an example lesson. There is no limit on the number of times you play each demo lesson.

Follow these steps to attempt a demo lesson



Select the Minecraft: Education Edition version you wish to download from the Get Minecraft download page. Install the version of Minecraft: Education Edition that you downloaded. Start Minecraft: Education Edition. At the Welcome to Minecraft Education Edition screen, select If you dont have an account, make one. Click View Terms to view the license agreement. Select Accept Terms and Play when you are ready to play. Select Start Lesson.
