Minecraft 1.18 Is Due To Launch This Month However, Three Major Features Are Still "on Hold"

The snapshot betas were getting ever-smaller, so we knew it was coming - but now Mojang has announced it as official. The Minecraft 1.18 release date, including all the Caves & Cliffs Part 2 features, is set to be released in November at the end of the month. The update will be available on all platforms Minecraft supports, and will bring us a variety of new biomes and revamped world generation, and much more.



Minecraft 1.18 will be available on November 30. The Java Edition update will be available across Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs and the Bedrock Edition will launch on the PlayStation 4 - take a deep breath PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Windows 10 and 11 PCs.



The update features new world generation as well as improved cave systems as well as candles. However, as was previously announced,Minecraft-servers.Bizhave been pushed back from 1.18 - and they will not be included in 1.19 (also called The Wild update) either, as the devs have confirmed.



The announcement states that archaeology, bundles and goat horns are "put on hold". "They have not been put on hold, we just had to put them on hold for the time being..
