Minecraft 1.19's First Snapshot Is Live

We were hoping that it would be a bit more distant but it's not - Mojang has decided that you can play Minecraft 1.19 right now. If you're willing to play the very experimental beta version, that is.haters gonna hate : Java Edition Players is now available in the first beta version of 1.19. This will allow you to explore the Deep Dark and interact with the Warden.

You can get details on how to install the snapshot over the official website however, keep in mind that you won't be able play through old worlds. You'll need to create a new world and it is unlikely that you can carry any worlds from the experimental snapshot into the next version.

This snapshot isn't a complete list of every feature planned for 1.19 which is also known as the Wild update, but it does include the Deep Dark biome, the Ancient City biome, the Warden mob, sculk blocks, the swift sneak enchantment and the dark mob effect.

When you are playing around with the new features, though, bear in mind that this is still an 'experimental' snapshot. This means that the developers are still trying to figure out how these systems function, and so any specific feature could be subject to significant changes in the future.
