There are numerous ways going to the Kedarkantha top, which is marked by a Trishul pointing toward the sky and is about two hours from the base camp. It is advised to begin the hike before dawn (as early as 3 AM) in order to see the breathtaking sunrise from the peak (which often happens about 7 AM). Although the ascent begins gradually, it becomes more difficult with approximately 80-degree inclines as you approach closer to the peak. The Kedarkantha summit offers 360-degree views of the neighbouring Himalayan ranges, including the Gangotri, Yamunotri, Chanshal Pass, and Kinnaur Kailash ranges, in addition to the spectacular dawn. Return from the peak to the Kedarkantha base camp and then continue on your way down to the Hargaon campground.
