This counseling is organized by Maharashtra’s Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER). The latest update is that the State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the Maharashtra NEET Counseling 2022 Schedule.

 

Maharashtra NEET Counseling 2022 will start in an online mode. NTA organizes the NEET examination for providing admission to the MBBS and BDS courses. 

The counseling for admission in state quota seats in MBBS/ BDS and many other courses is organized by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) of Maharashtra every year. For these courses, admission is done on the basis of NEET scores. 15% of All India Seats are filled by DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services) and the counseling process will be organized through an online mode.

An applicant can visit the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, which is Maharashtra’s official portal, to get themselves registered for Maharashtra State NEET UG Counseling 2022.   • Registration Process: Applicants/ candidates have to register online for the counseling process and carefully fill in all the required details in the form.

  • Provisional Merit List: A provisional merit list will be prepared for candidates after completing the registration process.

  • Document Verification Process: Shortlisted applicants will be able to proceed with the document verification process; you have to choose any one center for document verification at registration.

  • Choice Filling Process: Applicants or candidates can fill in their choices/preferences through online mode.

  • Seat Allotment: Based on merit, preferences, and seat availability, selection of applicants will be done.

  • Reporting Process: Candidates must report to the allotted college as per the seat allotment, and carry their original documents and photocopies to the allotted college on the prescribed date and timing.

Applicants need to follow the below steps:-

  • You have to Visit the official website of the CET cell.

  • Click on “Apply Online for NEET-UG 2022” button.

  • Then, click on the application form link.

  • You must read the instructions carefully before proceeding to fill out the application.

  • You should fill in all the entries carefully in the application form.

  • You must read and understand the conditions under the “Declaration by the Candidate” before clicking on the "Agree" button.

  • Set a password for the account that you can remember easily. Do not try for a very tricky or hard password.

  • Cross-check the entries filled in the application by you before applying.

  • You must then pay the application processing fee in order to submit the application.

  • Then, you would need to upload the requisite documents.

  • In the end, you should save a copy of the filled application form for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria For Maharashtra NEET Counseling 2022

Nationality

The applicant must be an Indian National.

The candidate must have registered himself with the State CET cell, Mumbai, through an online application on the website of the State CET Cell.

Candidates who are Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will be eligible for Government / Corporation / Government Aided / Private unaided college only. Provided that they have passed SSC HSC from the State of Maharashtra and should be staying in the state of Maharashtra for a minimum period of 10 years or should be a domicile of Maharashtra.

Institutional Quota’s Eligibility  (For MBBS and BDS Courses)

Including non-Resident Indians (NRI) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), as well as Outside Maharashtra candidates (OMS) any eligible candidates on All India basis can be admitted provided that they had appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test and were declared eligible for admission to undergraduate Medical and Dental courses, amongst candidates who apply for the institutional quota seats. The Competent Authority will be responsible to fill these seats through CAP. If seats remain vacant after all CAP rounds, then such seats will be surrendered to the respective institute for an institutional level round.

Institutional Quota’s Eligibility  (For Courses other than MBBS and BDS Course)

Including non-Resident Indians (NRI) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), as well as Outside Maharashtra candidates (OMS) any eligible candidates on All India basis can be admitted, provided that they had appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test and were declared eligible for admission to undergraduate Ayurved, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Unani, Homeopathy, Prosthetics and Orthotics and B.Sc Nursing Courses, amongst candidates who apply for institutional quota seats. Respective institutes will be responsible for filling these seats by calling applications at the individual institutions from all eligible candidates registered with the State CET cell.

Domicile of Candidate

Except candidates under clauses 4.1.3, 4.1.4, 4.7, 4.8, Annexure C and E, the Candidates must be Domicile of Maharashtra . The candidate must be born on or before 31st December 2004 will be considered as eligible for all Health Science Courses. The Birth certificate indicating the candidate’s name, or Secondary School Certificate, i.e. SSC or equivalent examination certificate or School Leaving Certificate that will endorse the date of birth, will constitute valid proof of identity for the candidate.
