New World: The Closed Beta for PC Players

New World is Amazon Games’ new MMORPG project and will land on PC this year.

As part of the 2021 Summer Games, the “Deep Diving” on June 11 showcased the game’s location, new content, factions and battles. Several changes have been implemented since the game was previewed last summer. Now, players will have another chance to get it before its release on August 31.

The closed beta for PC players will start on July 20, and there are two options to choose from.

How to register for the New World Closed Beta?

There are two ways to try to gain access to the New World closed beta, one to ensure you get a place in the closed beta, and the other to provide you with an opportunity. According to game director Scott Lane, players who pre-order the game will now have access to the closed beta. Players can pre-purchase the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, or Steelbook Edition to gain access to the closed beta, as well as other rewards, including unique amulets, titles, emoticons, and guild badges.

If you don't want to pre-order, you can register through the "Tester Registration" page of the New World website to get access to the internal test. All you have to do is create or log in with your Amazon account, and then click register on the page.

New World Closed Beta Details

The closed beta will run from July 20th to August 2nd, and anyone with access can fully stream their gameplay. However, the progress of the beta version will not continue until the release. Between the beta and release, progress will be erased.
