Play Minecraft with friends for FREE.

Today, I will demonstrate how you can play Minecraft Java Edition online with your friends for no cost. This method works on windows as well as Mac. Minecraft is a very fun to play game and it is better when we can play with friends.

Downloading Minecraft:

Head to the T-launcher website from here. Select your OS [Windows/Mac/Linux] then download the T-launcher. Install the T-launcher and then run it. Make sure you have java installed on your computer. T-launcher will ask you to install Java. If you do not have it, you can visit the Java website to download it. Once you run T-launcher choose an account name and the version of Minecraft to install. It is recommended to select the version that has TL inside the blue box, as is shown below.

Create a server:

Click the play button at the bottom of the right hand side to sign up for an account on the Aternos website. After having logged in, you'll require to create servers or alter the settings. If you don't have Minecraft, go to the left panel and choose cracked. We recommend you to buy Minecraft.

You can alter the options to meet your needs. Then , from the left side select servers. At the right hand side you'll be able to select the version of Minecraft. Select the exact version you downloaded from T-launcher, and then you can start the server.

Once the server is up and running, click on the connect button and you'll be able to see the DYN IP. Copy it and share it with your friends, too. Now run Minecraft from T-Launcher and go to multiplayer. Select direct connect at the bottom then type in your DYN IP into the input field, and then click connect. Request your friends to connect. Now all of you are in the same Minecraft world! Be aware that the DYN IP is constantly changing and is changed each time you start the server. You'll have to copy it every time.
