The MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) will be releasing the NEET counselling schedule shortly. The MCC conducts the seat allocation/counselling for the 15% AIQ (All India Quota) admission in government medical colleges and 100% for central universities (ESIC, AFMC, BHU and AMU).

There are ~91K MBBS, 27K BDS, 52K AYSH and 600+ BVSc and AH seats up for grabs this year. The NEET exam had more than 18 lac applicants this year. The exam was conducted on 17th July 2022 and the results were declared on 7th September 2022. Qualification cut-off scores for the exam are on the lower end this year (as compared to previous years), it is expected that candidates with scores between 590-620 will be able to secure government college seats.
