There are videogames available to keep us entertained during the time of a pandemic. If you're looking for more places to explore, a Minecraft player has recreated the Hawaiian Islands in a "fully playable" map that includes the entire chain available to explore. This map is accurate since it uses NASA satellite data.

Frank Cesco, the creator of the map, explains that it's a 1:45 scale map. A one-meter block now corresponds to 45 meters of ground in the real world. To facilitate navigation, the Y-axis scale is actually slightly exaggerated at 1:22. The total map size is 16,663 x 10,567 blocks and there's plenty of space to explore.

Instructions on how to download the map are provided in the description of the YouTube video by the creator.Minecraft Servers Frank Cesco's name may sound familiar due to the complete map of Europe that he released in the summer of last year at the smaller scale of 1:32.
