Is there a No-cost RuneScape Classic Account?

It is unlikely that someone will give their Runescape Classic account away, even the friendliest of people. These accounts are very rare. The Runescape classic is only available to members on a trial basis, or to accounts that were created during the classic period. However, there's an exception. In 2009, members were given the option of becoming classic-enabled and be able to access the classic version forever.Runescape servers It's a good thing at least for as long as you are an active member.

The following is a quote from the Runescape website: "Only two types of account can play RuneScape Classic: those who played RuneScape Classic at least once between August 3rd, 2005 and February 3rd of 2006 and those who played during the open two-week period between 11th November 2009 and 25th November 2009. You must have been an active member to play RuneScape Classic during this period. "

Players who have been enabled for classic are not affected by this feature. Players can only access the Classic Server if they have a membership. If your membership expires, you won't be able to access Runescape Classic until you renew your membership.

This is Runescape's May 2010 news: "If your membership expires it will no longer be able to login to Classic until you become a new member." Your account will still be "classic-enabled" regardless of when your membership expires. This means that you will not lose access to Classic forever in the event that you let your membership expire. It will be reinstated when you become a new member.
