MrBeast Hits 100 million YouTube Subscribers

You can blow up number balloons to make a cake with "100M" because MrBeast has just hit 100 million subscribers on YouTube.

Jimmy Donaldson, the creator of the channel, is the fifth to reach the huge following benchmark. He comes in after Cocomelon T-Series, Cocomelon and SET India, as well as the only account that is owned by a person: PewDiePie. "100 million means so much. Donaldson issued a press release declaring that he's been making videos since the age of 11. "This number is a reflection of everything I've done in my life. I'm so grateful for anyone who has ever watched videos. I'd like to continue doing YouTube until the day I die."

Donaldson has been posting YouTube videos since 2012, and his first ever video uploaded to his main channel that featured his playing Minecraft. His videos began taking off in 2018 as he started making content that showed him giving large amounts of money to strangers. His videos have grown to address shock-inducing challenges like not eating for 30 days or creating a real-life Squid Game.

To celebrate this achievement, MrBeast will - of course - launch new merchandise that is exclusively shoppable by YouTube's Live Shopping feature. He's also planning to release one of his most expensive videos on August 4 - because when you're the most subscribed YouTube creator, you're likely to have the money to fund some very expensive content.
