Can You Not Believe In God And Go To Heaven?

There is no trace of impurity in God's nature; the Holy Creator is the mastermind behind attributes like honesty, patience, purity, holiness, love, and much more, and this is evident in the way He fashioned our planet.

What Is Believe In God?

God wants us to live according to His character, not just to make things more challenging. He is permanently confined to his current role or identity. God won't act in a way that contradicts His own identity.
You could call it the unmodifiable regulations that govern the cosmos.
The God spoken of in the Bible is the one who created everything in the universe, including the invisible bits. See what the Bible tells us in this chapter:

"I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. (Isaiah 42:8)
For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. (Deuteronomy 4:24)
The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. (Psalm 113:4)
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. (1 Chronicles 29:11)
All the angels were standing around the throne...They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, (Revelation 7:11)

Many people today have only heard about God, they haven't had a personal experience with Him.

God owns everything, including us, and He just wants what's rightfully His. He wants us to love and serve Him in return for all He's done for us.
The world belongs to God, and He can change it as He sees fit, even if it's hard for us to understand. If you or I were the creators, we would have the power to establish the regulations. But God states:

'Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.' (Deuteronomy 6:5-6)

To make life easier, God would've had to make us robots without free will, but He didn't do that. But that's not what God had in view for us. God wanted beings that had the ability to freely love Him.
A being that had some likeness to God.

Giving people free will means they might not choose to be with you and that's a risk.

It's true, the problem with granting your created being their own free choice to choose how they live, is that they might rebel against the maker, and that is exactly what we did.
There's an issue because we all do things that are considered wrong, and the Bible calls this sin. These things utterly violate God's nature and holiness, and again, you could say a violation of the Unchangeable Laws of the universe, the ordered universe He created. We've become distant from God because of these negative things we've done.

'The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?'(Jeremiah 17:9)
'But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.' (Psalm 19:12)

Know that each time you do something wrong, you're creating a debt that must be paid to God.

The things we're obliged to do for God:
'And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.' (Matthew 6:12)

God's perfect purity is being broken by all of these things. Do you see it?
In the Bible, God says that it is wrong to steal, have you at any time stolen anything in your life?
Scripture teaches us not to desire what rightfully belongs to others. Have you ever felt envy towards your friend's spouse, way of life, belongings, or residence?
We have to obey God's command to honor our parents. Have you ever talked back to your parents when they were disciplining you?
God forbids using His Name in vain or flippantly. Have you ever spoken God's Name carelessly or without due respect?

Nothing is hidden from God; He knows it all. And remember, we saw that ALL bad things MUST be put right. ALL the wrongs will be judged at some point. Another way to put it is, finding reconciliation with the unchangeable laws of the universe. The Bible refers to it as easing God's anger. It's a surprise to many because they've been taught that God's love is unconditional for all. Many believe that God would never be wrathful with someone, no matter how much they transgress. It's common for people who lack basic knowledge to argue that God is supposed to love us regardless of our actions.
We can't just focus on God's love for the world, we also need to acknowledge His holiness. It's not something that can happen.

Grasping the essence of God, who is eternal, becomes unattainable when we use our expectations, behavior, and earthly norms.
He's from a place that's completely out of reach, but the Bible tells us about Him. Trying to make God follow our rules is like trying to control something that's not meant to be controlled.

God shouldn't be held responsible for the problems in the world, even though some people think otherwise. The things He made were perfect. The first man, Adam, made a mistake and now we all make mistakes.

The Bible says:

'For all have sinned (done wrongs things), and do need the glory of God. wrongs' (Romans 3:23)

Being a good person and doing good things won't protect you from the punishment for bad thoughts and actions. There is no other way to be saved except through Jesus Christ. Being a good person and going to church doesn't avoid going to hell. It's crucial to come clean about our sins and seek God's forgiveness with a genuine heart. We have to live our lives entirely for God once we ask for forgiveness.
Again, the Bible explains that the outcome of our bad actions is eternal punishment in hell:

'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' (Romans 6:23)

The Price for Your Mistakes, Paid by God

Don't stress, God has a plan to pay for all the bad things we do, so we can follow the unchangeable laws of the universe.
Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection were the means by which God fulfilled His glorious plan. This incredible plan was carried out in front of everyone, including humans, angels, and Satan. We can't fix our wrongs with anything else.

People are always asking how God can be both strict and loving. God's nature is intertwined with love., but, the Bible teaches that you can't have God's love without also His justice. It's not one or the other, it's both.
It's impossible to fully comprehend the Eternal God with our own expectations. Thinking God has to follow our rules is a dangerous way to view Him. You can't hide your thoughts from God because He knows everything.

Surrendering to God is the Next Step After Saying Sorry

If you feel truly apologetic for your mistakes, you feel compelled to live for God. God tells us to do precisely this. We can choose to have God as the ultimate leader in our lives for good. We listen to and obey all the teachings of the Bible.
The correct order of things is what the Bible states:

'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)

These words were never spoken by God; 'To get to heaven and be with me, be a good person and do good for others.'
God has given us guidance on how to be forgiven of our sins:

'To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:

"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:'God, I thank you that I am not like other people--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'
"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said,'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'
"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." (Luke 18:9-14)

Just because the religious man didn't do "bad" sins like child abuse, God still didn't forgive him in the story.
God forgave the tax collector despite his cheating because he repented. Giving our lives to God and admitting our faults is a tough pill to swallow. Despite that, we need to admit our mistakes and give up control to God to be saved.

Jesus Christ communicated:

'He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
'And said, “Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.' (Matthew 18:2-3)

Merely doing good things for God won't guarantee our salvation; being saved from hell doesn't depend on our moral goodness.

'You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own.' (Ephesians 2:8)

Are You Ready To Face The Reality Of Your Sins And The Punishment They Bring In Hell?

'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)

To ‘Take up your cross every day’ means, we have to live in a self-sacrificing way daily for God.

The Bible points out that:

'Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

'But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.' (1Peter 3:15)

Stated differently:

You acknowledge the severity of your sins in the eyes of God. You wholeheartedly ask for forgiveness. Jesus Christ becomes your CEO. It's a long-term commitment. And as the Bible says, we live for God Reading the Bible daily. Daily communication with God through prayer. Preaching about God to others. Doing what we can to help others. God Most High becomes the driving force and aim of your life's purpose.
Then, God our Father will take us to heaven in glory.
