God's nature is entirely pure, with no blemish of wrongdoing; the Holy One is the author of qualities such as honesty, patience, purity, holiness, love, and much more, all of which are reflected in the creation of our planet.
Believe In God?God's requirements are not something that He just decided to do, to make things hard for us, it is who He is. He is forever consigned to his current condition. God's actions reflect His fundamental nature.
It's like the rules that can never be changed, no matter what.
So, the God of the Bible is the Great Creator God of the whole universe, as well as the creator of the smallest part of an atom, which is invisible to us. Discover what the Bible says in this segment:
"I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. (Isaiah 42:8)
For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. (Deuteronomy 4:24)
The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. (Psalm 113:4)
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. (1 Chronicles 29:11)
All the angels were standing around the throne...They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, (Revelation 7:11)
Most people today have only heard about God, they have never truly met Him.
Everything in the universe belongs to God, including us, and He wants what's His. To return the love, we should serve Him as He commands.
It's not easy to accept, but God has ultimate authority over the world, like a toy that He can play with. If we created it, we would be able to determine what the guidelines are. But, as it turns out, God says:
'Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.' (Deuteronomy 6:5-6)
God could have made life easier by taking away danger, but then we'd all be robots. But that's not what God had in view for us. God wanted beings that would willingly choose to love Him.
A creature that reflected some of God's attributes.
Giving people free will means they might not choose to be with you and that's a risk.
Creating something that can choose for itself is risky because it might go against your wishes, which is what we did.
There's an issue because we all have flaws or make mistakes that the Bible calls sin. When we do these things, it's a total disrespect for God's nature and holiness, and it's like breaking the laws of the universe that He set in place. We've become distant from God because of these negative things we've done.
'The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?'(Jeremiah 17:9)
'But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.' (Psalm 19:12)
Be aware that every wrong decision incurs a responsibility towards God that must be met.
The things we need to do for God:
'And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.' (Matthew 6:12)
Do you see how these things don't fit with God's perfect purity?
Have you ever taken something that wasn't yours to take? According to the Bible, God is against stealing.
Scripture reminds us not to covet what belongs to others. Have you ever grappled with envy over your friend's wife, life, possessions, or home?
Respecting our parents is important to God. Have you ever challenged your parents' authority by talking back to them?
Using God's Name in vain or carelessly is against His wishes. Did you ever use God's Name in a flippant or disrespectful way?
God is aware of everything, big or small. And remember, we saw that ALL bad things MUST be put right. There will be a time when ALL the bad things will be judged. In other words, finding balance with the unchanging laws of the universe. Or as the Bible calls it, to make God less angry. This might be a shock to some people, since they believe that God loves everyone so much. People have come to think that God would never be wrathful with someone, no matter what they do wrong. It's common for people who lack basic knowledge to argue that God is supposed to love us regardless of our actions.
While God loves the world, we must also consider His holiness. That's just not possible.
Understanding the eternal God becomes an insurmountable challenge when we employ our expectations, conduct, and worldly standards.
The Bible shows us how God is completely beyond this world and anything we know. Expecting God to follow our rules is a waste of time because that's not how things work in the real world.
It's easy to blame God when things go wrong, but He's not the one causing the trouble. The things He created were without flaws. Adam made an error and now we all make errors.
In the Holy Book, it is written...
'For all have sinned (done wrongs things), and do need the glory of God. wrongs' (Romans 3:23)
Only being good and doing good things won't save you from the consequences of bad thoughts and behavior. Only Jesus Christ has the power to do this. Just because you're a good person and attend church, doesn't mean you're going to heaven. To be forgiven, we must acknowledge our mistakes and ask God for true repentance. We need to commit ourselves entirely to God after asking for forgiveness.
Again, the Bible teaches us that the result of our bad choices is facing eternal punishment in hell:
'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' (Romans 6:23)
How God Redeemed Your Wrong Actions
No need to worry, God has a solution for all the bad stuff we do that makes it right with His unchanging laws of the universe.
God's glorious plan involved Jesus Christ dying, being buried, and rising from the dead. This incredible plan was carried out in front of everyone, including humans, angels, and Satan. We can't fix our wrongs with anything else.
Constantly, I hear people asking “How can God be so strict, I thought He was a God of love?” Love is one of God's defining qualities., but, God's love and justice are both very real, as the Bible clearly explains. They're both crucial.
Our understanding of God is limited by our own ways of thinking. It's important to understand that God doesn't follow our rules because He is above us. God is aware of every thought you have, so there's no way to deceive Him.Next, Give Your Life Completely to God
If you're truly remorseful for your actions, you'll want to dedicate your life to God. This is what God dictates for us to do. We can choose to make God our lifelong boss. We are committed to obeying every word in the Bible.
The Bible teaches us that's the correct order of things:
'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)
God didn't say that, ever; 'If you're kind and do good deeds, you'll be saved and come to heaven with me.'
Let me share with you what God said about being forgiven for your sins:
'To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:
"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:'God, I thank you that I am not like other people--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'
"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said,'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'
"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." (Luke 18:9-14)
Just because the religious man didn't do "bad" sins like kidnap, God still did not forgive him in the story.
Despite his cheating, the tax collector was forgiven by God because he repented. Giving our lives to God and admitting our faults is a tough pill to swallow. Although, if we don't surrender to God and admit our faults, we cannot be saved.
Jesus Christ uttered:
'He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
'And said, “Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.' (Matthew 18:2-3)Mere acts of kindness for God won't secure our salvation; salvation from hell doesn't come from being virtuous.
'You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own.' (Ephesians 2:8)
Will You Choose To Live A Life That Leads To Eternal Punishment In Hell?
'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)
Living a selfless life every day for God is what it means to take up your cross.
It is also written in the Bible that:
'Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)
'But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.' (1Peter 3:15)
In more straightforward terms:
You realize the weight of your sins before God. You genuinely express regret for your wrongdoing. Jesus Christ becomes your CEO. And that's how it'll be till the end of your days. The Bible tells us to live for God, and that's exactly what we do. Read the Bible daily to learn about God. Making a commitment to pray to God daily. Sharing about God with others. Being of service to others. You dedicate your life to serving the cause of God Most High forever.
