Tour Itinerary

Day One – A Very Warm Welcome to Delhi, India!

And so it begins, your Golden Triangle Tour of India… you will start your journey here in Delhi upon arrival! Your local guide would be delighted to help you immerse yourself into the exciting city of Delhi. You will begin your tour in Old Delhi by strolling through some of the aromatic bazaars filled with spices, visiting the amazing Jama Masjid, and taking an exhilarating rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk. Make sure you check out the peaceful memorial site of Raj Ghat, then make your way to New Delhi where you will see some of the famous sites like India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Lotus Temple, and the beautiful Qutub Minar. After a busy day of sightseeing, relax at your hotel in Delhi for a pleasant evening.

Day 2: Travel to Agra - Visit the Jamia Mosque & the Agra Fort

After a good breakfast, you will head to Agra, which is home to the world-famous Taj Mahal. The first stop you make when you arrive in Agra will be the impressive Agra Fort that was once the stronghold of the Mughal Emperors. If you have time, you can also visit the Taj Mahal’s "baby" (the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah) before taking a leisurely walk through Agra or along the banks of the Yamuna River, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the Taj Mahal as the sun sets while at Mehtab Bagh (Moonlight Garden). After an exciting day, you will return to your hotel for a peaceful night's sleep.

Day 3: Agra - Sunrise at the Taj Mahal | Visit Fatehpur Sikri | Continue on to Jaipur

You will have a memory that will last forever! You will get up very early to witness how the sunrise lights up the Taj Mahal’s marble surface with pinks and golds (this is the best time of day to take a picture of it). After breakfast, you will make your way to Jaipur, while stopping to see the eerie but still beautiful city of Fatehpur Sikri (the "Ghost City") built by Akbar. Your journey will continue as you arrive at beautiful "Pink City" Jaipur and check in to your hotel in the evening for some well-deserved rest.

Day 4: Jaipur - Full Day City Tour -

Day 4 is dedicated to getting a taste of the royal splendor in Jaipur. To begin your adventure, join us high atop the Amber Fort, which overlooks the Maota Lake (consider taking an optional elephant ride to the top of the ramparts). Next, be sure to take a few photographs at the beautiful Jal Mahal (Water Palace), and visit the famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Go further into the city's history at the beautiful City Palace and the incredible mathematics of Jantar Mantar. After you have finished sightseeing, browse for souvenirs or try an authentic Rajasthani dinner with a live folk dance.

Day Five - Free time in Jaipur and Departure to Delhi

On this last day of the 05 Days Golden Triangle Tour, take your time to enjoy some last-minute shopping or visit more of Jaipur's wonderful sites and colorful temples and gardens. After lunch you will commence your journey back to Delhi. Upon arriving in Delhi, you will be dropped off at either your accommodation, the airport or the railway station, thereby concluding your five-day Golden Triangle Tour full of memories and new friends.
