Components of Wholesale Lotion Pump Head Manufacturers

Wholesale lotion pump head manufacturers' lotion pump components and their functions

1. Actuator:
The actuator is the active thing. Here, the actuator is the head of the pump. This is where you need to press or push down to get the lotion out. This is also the first thing that attracts your attention in a lotion pump. Therefore, pump manufacturers try to adjust their lotion pumps to make them look attractive. They also ensure consumer satisfaction. The common way to indicate the correct use of an actuator is to place an arrow on the pump head to indicate the direction. The actuator is made of polypropylene, which is a durable plastic, also known as PP.

2. Cap:

The cap is connected to the actuator. It fixes the other part of the head pump together. It is fixed on the neck of the bottle. It can be smooth or ribbed. The ribbed bottle cap is easier to use because it can help you open the bottle cap even if your hands are soiled by the contents of the bottle. Like the actuator, the lid is made of PP plastic.

3. Outer gasket:

It is placed in the lid. The gasket fills the space between the cap and the neck of the bottle. It prevents leakage of sticky contents. In most cases, it is made of rubber or low-density polyethylene (LDPE).

4. Housing:

The housing securely holds all the other parts of the lotion pump in place, and at the same time acts as a channel for sending the contents from the straw to the actuator. The size of the enclosure depends on the design and recommended output. It is made of ethylene-vinyl acetate plastic.

5. Stem/piston/spring/ball (internal components of the housing):

They are installed in the housing. These parts vary depending on the design of the lotion pump. They transfer the contents of the container to the actuator through a straw. The spring is made of flexible or coiled material, usually stainless steel. When the actuator is pressed, it exerts force. The spring enables the actuator to return to its original position, and the piston ejects fluid when pressure is applied through the actuator.

6. Straws:
It is a long plastic tube that extends the length of the lotion pump to the bottom of the bottle. The contents of the bottle move up the tube to the actuator. The bottle determines the length of the tube. The straw should match the height of the bottle. If the tube is very short, it will not be possible to extract all the contents of the bottle. If it is too long, you will not be able to screw the lotion pump onto the bottle. A well-installed straw can prevent malfunctions. The straw is also made of PP plastic.
